For my historic-home-lovers – this one is for you. Hill House is the perfect Durham wedding venue – this beautiful Spanish Colonial Revival mansion has wrap around porches, gorgeous design, and sprawling green space, all right in downtown Durham.
Heights House Hotel
If you love a unique and timeless venue and you're up to venturing into Raleigh, this spot should be on your radar. This stunning hall built in 1860 has been beautifully renovated and opened as Heights House in 2021. The space can host up to 149 guests, and features beautiful arched doorways and windows, gorgeous rooms, and a team that will work with you to truly make your dream wedding come to life.
Barn at Valhalla
The Barn at Valhalla is a wildly cool venue near Durham, NC that works great for hosting friends or fam for a whole weekend of fun. The Upchurch

If you're the trail-blazing type, highly recommend checking out The Barn at Stoney Hill, a brand new wedding venue in Durham, NC that opened in June 2024. This bright barn boasts a loft, vintage pews, and ceremony options for inside or out, with configurations that can host as many as 200 people.
Carolina Grove
If you're a romantic-type who loves the feeling of being surrounded by trees and big bright spaces you just might fall in love with Carolina Grove. This venue can host up to 275 guests, and features multiple beautiful areas including a ceremony space under the trees, a large cocktail hour grove, a large pavilion style reception space and getting ready rooms. My wife and I fell in love with the venue the moment we saw it, and were married there in May of 2024!
